The Galangoor Duwalami Primary Health Care Service Family Day helps to encourage the Fraser Coast communities

Barry Denduck Memorial Game brings together the communities of Hervey Bay and Cherbourg. 

During Barry Denducks football career Cherbourg Hornets and Hervey Bay Seagull Rugby League Clubs were the two main clubs he played for. 

In the end, Barry Denduck (Snr) became the oldest player in Queensland still playing in the A Grade Team at the age of 57yrs.

This memorial day game is to remember Barry Denduck (Snr) as a respected and loved man devoted to his family and to the game of Rugby League. He was also a devoted West Tigers fan and supporter.

The memorial day consists of a number of sporting events and age groups ranging from touch football, little league, to women’s rugby league to the main game and petrel shield game being Hervey Bay Seagulls verses Cherbourg Hornets. 

The day is well supported by both communities and is a fun and enjoyable day for all. 

The Galangoor Duwalami Primary Health Care Service family fun day is an addition which encourages the communities to live healthy, promotes exercise and enjoy a healthier lifestyle. 

The day also includes the Deadly Choices team from Brisbane, Gladstone and the Deadly Choices Ambassadors. 

The days events highlight the importance of healthy living and encompasses a of activities that community members can engage with

The range of activities include a 715 Health Check, rock climbing, men’s health questionnaire, quit smoking activities and much more.
